What a Civil court portal can show
A Civil portal is organized around the current Los Angeles Superior Court record for the selected case. The goal is to answer the questions customers usually need answered quickly, without making them navigate multiple court pages.
Next hearing
YourCourtPortal should check the current LASC Civil Case Access or calendar information each time the portal is refreshed. If a future hearing is shown, the portal displays the hearing date, time, department, courthouse and hearing description when available. If the Court is reached successfully and no future hearing appears, the portal states: There is no court hearing shown in the docket.
Last hearing
The portal can show the most recent hearing reflected by the available Civil case information, helping the customer understand what happened most recently on the court calendar.
Latest court filings
The Civil portal is designed to surface the five newest docket filings available from the connected Civil case source. Filing information should remain coordinated with the current LASC Civil Case Access record rather than an older manually maintained list.
Remote court appearance access
When remote appearance is relevant, the portal can provide a direct route to the Los Angeles Superior Court remote appearance service so the customer does not have to search for the court connection page.
